About Bodegas Tagua Tagua
Located in Chile’s famous Rapel Valley, Bodegas Tagua Tagua takes its name from the nearby city of San Vincente de Tagua Tagua. Farming vineyard parcels in the Colchagua, Cachapoal and Maule valleys, Tagua Tagua wines are excellent expressions of Chile’s varied terroirs.
Tagua Tagua is a representation of the spirit of their family and pays homage to the origin of the Chilean wine scene. The wine represents the perseverance of the people who managed to overcome the intense terrain and fierce climate of Chile to produce wines of global quality.

Family-owned
The Correa family has been making wine on their family property for five generations with more than 100 years of experience to guide them. Their legacy in the Chilean wine industry dates back to the mid-1800s as one of the pioneering wine families in the country.
First generation José Gregorio Correa Albano was the original founder of Viña San Pedro, one of Chile's most world-renowned wine producers. Shortly thereafter he established the winery that is known today as Bodegas Tagua Tagua.

Winemaking
All the Tagua Tagua wines are made from their estate vineyards, encompassing a number of parcels throughout the Central Valley region, ranging from 7 to 150 acres in size and 25 to 70 years in age.
Tagua Tagua wine is so sought after in the local industry that they actually supply surplus wine to a particularly famous Chilean brand that cannot be mentioned due to strict contract requirements.
Sustainability
Their mission is to provide a socially sustainable business for all the families of their company and their community, all the while preserving their wild and natural environment through the use of winemaking techniques and agricultural practices that are in harmony with nature.
Sustainability is a key factor in every stage of their production, with much care taken to ensure minimal waste and hardly any pesticides in the vineyard. They count themselves as one of the most environmentally conscious wineries in Chile.
